Covely builds the twin from a photo set and a voice sample of someone under contract, then locks that face and that voice to one brand in one category. The same presenter in every format and every language you publish in — and cleared for AI generation in writing.
The digital twin
One face. One voice. Every format.
The twin starts as a real person who has signed for it, and becomes something you can direct. From there one twin covers every placement you publish to, and it is the same face and the same voice in all of them.

The problem
A thousand creators, and everyone picks the same twelve.
Every major UGC platform ships a library of stock avatars — more than a thousand each, and growing. The libraries overlap, the best performers get found fast, and within a season the same handful of faces is recommending competing products to the same audience, in the same feed.
That is the opposite of what a spokesperson is for. Recognition is the entire mechanism: a face works because the viewer has seen it before and associates it with something. Shared across a category, that association works against you — you are paying to build recognition your competitor collects.
How it works
Three steps, and the face is yours.
01
Choose
Pick from the Covely cast, or bring your own person — a founder, an employee, a creator you already work with. We can also cast and shoot someone for you.
02
Lock
We sign the exclusivity: your category, your market, your term. From that moment the face is removed from the shared library for anyone who competes with you.
03
Produce
Nothing changes in how you work. The face appears in your workspace like any other creator, and generations draw on your plan's credits as usual.
Unlimited generations. The licence is for exclusivity, not for output.
You are not buying video minutes or a number of clips. You are buying the right to be the only brand in your category using that person. Generate as much as your plan allows, for the whole term.
The options
Three ways to hold a face.
Shared
The standard Covely cast, included with every plan. Available to every account — including the brands you compete with. This is where most teams are today.
Included with every plan
Exclusive
One face and one voice, locked to your category in your market and removed from the shared library for competing brands. Renewable, with first refusal while your licence is live.
On request
Signature
A face built for you — your own person, or talent we cast and shoot. Exclusive everywhere, in every category and every market, by construction.
Exclusive use of the face and voice in your category and market, unlimited generations for the term, removal of that creator from the shared library for competing brands, and right of first refusal at renewal.
Not included
The credits your generations consume. Those come from your plan, exactly as they do today. The licence buys exclusivity, not production.
On Signature
Casting, shooting and model training happen before the licence starts, and are agreed with you upfront.
Rights and disclosure.
Every person in the Covely cast is under contract, with explicit written consent for AI generation, a defined term and agreed renewal terms. We do not train on faces we do not have the right to use.
Assets are marked as artificially generated in the file itself, which is the provider's obligation under Article 50(2) of the EU AI Act. The audience-facing disclosure under Article 50(4) stays with the advertiser — we do our half by default, and the marking is what makes your half defensible.
For the length of your licence, no other Covely account in your category and market can generate with that face or that voice. The creator is removed from their library. Outside your category the face may be licensed to a non-competing brand, unless you hold a Signature licence, which is exclusive everywhere.
How is my category defined?
We agree it in writing when the licence starts, and we keep it narrow enough to be meaningful and wide enough to be real — usually a product category in a market, not an entire industry. It goes into the contract, so there is nothing left to interpret later.
Can I use my own person?
Yes, and it is often the strongest option. A founder, an employee or a creator you already work with becomes a Signature face: exclusive by construction, and consistent with the brand people already associate with you.
How many videos can I generate?
As many as your plan's credits allow. The licence does not cap output — it only decides who else may use the face.
What happens at the end of the term?
You have first refusal. If you renew, nothing changes. If you do not, the face returns to the shared library after a cooling period, and everything you already generated stays yours to run.
Is the person real?
Yes. Every face in the cast is a real person under contract, with written consent for AI generation. Nothing is scraped, and nothing is invented from someone who did not agree.
Do I have to tell viewers the ad is AI?
Every asset is marked as artificially generated in the file as standard. Audience-facing disclosure requirements vary by market and stay with the advertiser, but the marking is what makes compliance straightforward.
Can I switch faces if one is not working?
Yes, once at no cost early in the term. If a face is not performing you should not be stuck with it — we would rather you swap than leave.
Does this work on any plan?
Yes, on any Corporate plan and inside Agency Edition. Agencies can hold licences on behalf of a client, with the exclusivity registered to the end brand.
Find out who else is using your creator.
Tell us the category and the market, and we will check which faces are already running against you. It takes us a day, and you get the answer either way.
